A Sun Salutation is a series of yoga poses designed to awaken the body with a flow of movement in all directions. This video is an introduction to Sun Salutations in which I break it down slowly to guide you through each move. After instruction in the basic flow of poses, I offer guidance for adapting the Sun Salutations for those with lijmited mobility and strength, as well as a more advanced flow for those looking for more of a challenge. Once you learn this vinyasa flow, you can repeat it several times to create a short practice that can stand alone or incorporate it into a longer yoga practice.
